Naturally-Aspirated Street Function
The hot hatch 147 GTA model was launched in 2002.
The GTA uses a 3.2 V6 engine, producing 250 HP (184 kW) and can achieve a top speed of 246 km/h.
With all this power the GTA can get from 0-100 in 6 seconds flat.
It has a widened body (15 mm at each side) to accommodate the 225/45R17 tyres.
The Gearbox is a Manual box which is automatically controlled, they call this SeleSpeed.
This model is probably the newest in NZ, and has had so much attention in its low km life.
It has been lowered on some firmer springs, which makes its cornering capabilities unreal..!
London-based after-market tuner Autodelta has produced a "bored out" version of the GTA sporting a 3.7-litre V6, producing 328 hp (245 kW), and a split-axle differential gear for the front wheels.
Autodelta has also made a Rotrex supercharged version producing 400 hp (300 kW).
In total only 5,029 GTAs were built.
